Over 20 years of passionate research, preserving the history of every Australian & New Zealand assembled Chrysler vehicle ever built.
Our Story
Valiant Infobase began in 2003 as a personal passion project by Bill Papanicolaou — a lifelong Chrysler enthusiast with an obsession for documentation, accuracy and preserving automotive history.
What started as a personal archive quickly grew into something far bigger. Bill began receiving requests from owners across Australia and New Zealand who wanted to know more about their vehicles — original paint codes, factory option codes, engine numbers, and build specifications that had never been publicly documented before.
Over two decades of painstaking research, factory archive access, club records and community contributions, the database has grown to encompass over 800,000 VINs across every Australian and New Zealand assembled Chrysler model produced between 1962 and 1981.
Today, Valiant Infobase is recognised as Australia's national reference centre for Chrysler vehicle history — the most comprehensive resource of its kind anywhere in the world.
Every report, every specification sheet and every data point is personally verified by Bill. When you register your vehicle with Valiant Infobase, you're not dealing with an algorithm — you're working directly with the person who has spent over 20 years building this archive.
Preserving the history of Australian & New Zealand assembled Chryslers — because every one of these vehicles deserves to have its story told.— Bill Papanicolaou, Founder, Valiant Infobase
Our Journey
Bill begins systematically cataloguing Chrysler vehicle data from factory records, compliance plates and club archives. The personal project that would become Valiant Infobase is born.
The first official specification sheets are produced for vehicle owners. The response from the Chrysler community is overwhelming — demand far exceeds expectations.
Valiant Infobase becomes the recognised go-to national resource for Australian Chrysler vehicle history. Major clubs and restorers across Australia and New Zealand are using the database.
The database reaches the milestone of 500,000 verified vehicle identification numbers — representing the majority of all Australian and New Zealand assembled Chryslers ever produced.
Today the database holds over 800,000 verified VINs with full specification data. New registrations arrive daily from owners across Australia, New Zealand and beyond.
What We Stand For
Every data point is personally verified. We never publish information we can't substantiate from primary factory sources or documented evidence.
These vehicles are part of Australian automotive heritage. We exist to ensure their history is documented, preserved and accessible forever.
You deal directly with Bill — not a chatbot or call centre. Every enquiry is handled personally by the person who built and maintains the archive.
We've always existed to serve the Australian Chrysler community. Profits are reinvested into expanding the database and improving our services.
